What is the main difference between Hush and Hérès?
Hush removes photos and swiping to begin with a vibe, voice or text. Hérès begins with a dating profile, preferences and mutual interest. Both give conversation an important role, but the path to that conversation is different.
Choose Hush if you mainly want an anonymous conversation without a visual profile. Choose Hérès if you want to discover adult profiles, match, chat and keep the option of a live video call or optional private content.
No photos on Hush, anonymous profile on Hérès
Hush says it does not request profile photos and presents an aura made of a colour, chosen name and possibly a voice. Public photos belong to the standard Hérès profile, while anonymous profile hides them when enabled.
Hérès anonymous profile does not mean no checks or absolute anonymity. Required verification still applies, and a bio, voice, video call or voluntarily shared information may identify someone.
Voice notes or a live video call?
Hush presents voice notes and written messages as its core format and says it offers no live calls or video. Hérès lets either person propose a live video call from the conversation opened after a match.
On Hérès, the other person must accept the call. Camera and microphone permissions are required. Accepting a call never grants permission to record, redistribute or demand more content.
An immediate vibe or a profile and match?
On Hush, a person chooses a vibe — such as friendly, intimate or deep — before being paired. On Hérès, preferences, profiles and likes lead to a match. Read a bio and choose before opening a conversation.
Neither model guarantees compatibility or another person’s behaviour. Blocking and reporting remain important regardless of how a conversation starts.
Conversation and private content
Hérès separates conversation, live video, private media and galleries. Private content is optional: you can match and chat without buying or offering media. Demo payments are simulated, and real-money services are not currently open.
Hush describes a mutual-consent lock before media can be exchanged. Always check the current terms inside the selected service; a public comparison does not replace its rules or privacy policy.
Which service suits discreet dating?
Hush is closer to conversation without photos or a public profile. Hérès is closer to profile-and-match dating, with separate settings to hide public photos or limit who can discover the profile.
No setting guarantees complete invisibility. Decide whether you want to remain with text and voice, potentially move to video with a match, or share content in a private space.
